Allow users to define sections (intro, verse, channel, chorus, bridge)
Most songs have a form, why not allow users to tag the grey bar a different color to designate a different section of the song?
If it worked out, you could chain the chord display to the form; instead of a straight 16 bars across, it could change based on section?
Regardless, love what you guys are doing. Grew up playing by ear, so I'm enjoying the changes ya'll calling out. much better than most. Keep on keepin on!
Thanks, what a great idea! So far, we don’t have plans to implement this as of yet, but we’re very open to what our users want, so we will be keeping an eye on those votes.

Agree that this idea would be something great to add if somebody does a manual edit. (i.e., obviously to hard to do for the automatical analysis.)
SO during edit use sections (WIth a section label?) and move chords as needed
NOTE: If the original song adds a few extra chords/notes on transition section and then goes back to a "normal" verse or chorus seciont... then then the song could be manually edited so that the newer section is properly "aligned" again.
From a programming viewpoint I'm sure this idea and several other would all depend on a similar "manual edit" conversion. (I.e., adding colors... allowing lyrics to be manually typed in for a PERSONAL version of the edit to avoid copyright probelms... etc.)
provide color coding to identify verse, chorus, solos and bridges
Enable text entering so we can notate song sections such as "Verse" "Chorus" etc

This would be an excellent addition to the edit facility to be able to highlight different sections of the song in colours of choice.
provide color coding to more easily identifty verse, chorus, and bridge parts...... you really get lost when editing a bunch of chords
