It would be useful for complexe songs and easier for people to learn them1 vote
Thanks for your idea. It actually exists already and you can vote for it here: https://chordify.uservoice.com/admin/forums/179340-general/suggestions/7078294-implement-tabs
For some reason the guitar fingering on that chord shows the version w/ barred 6th fret that is more awkward to switch to/from than the 1st fret version.1 vote
Hey there, thanks for your feedback. There are indeed numerous ways to play the same chords, we agreed having the bar chords on fret 6 is ‘easier’ to fret than on the 1st fret and not playing the low E. Additionally, playing an ‘open’ A#/Bb chord might arguably be harder than a simpler bar chord.
Why don't you enable a download feature so that a person can practice the chord progession along with youtube video1 vote
We’re not allowed to provide downloads of YouTube videos, sorry.
Thank you for your suggestion. We are aware of music21 and we think it is great software. However, I currently don’t see how we could use it within chordify. Also, music21 is developed in Python, while our backend is developed in Haskell.
Any chance of including the "Change Quality" button from the Youtube task bar?
We have a slow connection and as the video buffers it pauses the playback.
Again thank you, what an amazing concept!1 vote
Dear BobDog, Thank you for your suggestion. The video quality automatically managed by youtube, and currently we would like to keep it that way.
It is not completely clear to me what you mean. If you think this might be a bug, please consider placing a ticket: http://chordify.uservoice.com/
Would like to place them in the order of my choice,ie in alphabetical or the songs that I'm learning in a folder.
Order of my choice,ie alphabetic or the songs i'm learning.so i don't have to scroll down or up to select what i like.1 vote
Hello, thanks for your suggestion. Currently the only sorting options supported are by alphabetical name or by date added. We’re not looking to actively implement other sorting options as of now, sorry!

We get so many request to chordify songs. We cannot check these chord sequences by hand. however, we do have plans to allow users to adapt the chord sequences. you can vote for this issue here:

The software allows to transpose the chords to a different key. However the music playing in the background is in the original Key and not the Transposed key.1 vote
Changing the playback pitch is unfortunately impossible (we stream from YouTube, for example, so we can only do what their API allows us to). Furthermore, we would not be able to make changes to videos without the artist’s content. Sorry that this is not a feature we will be able to implement.
Thanks for getting in touch with your idea. We declined it because the idea exists already and you can vote for it here: https://chordify.uservoice.com/forums/179340-general/suggestions/3431545-show-the-lyrics-of-the-song
many of youtube video that shows the chord progression does not match what chordify transposes.1 vote
Automatic chord extraction/estimation is a hard task with plenty of active academic research (see, for example, the MIREX Audio Chord Estimation track). Chordify uses state-of-the-art music recognition software, but it often fails to find the correct chords or beat. We are continuously improving our service, and keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, to offer the best user experience possible.
All the best,
