Dear Johan, we discussed your idea with our team, and decided not to implement it in the near future. Nevertheless, thank you for your feedback. It is much appreciated.
Great Software; and free; amazing
If you could do someting alike for saxofone!!!
Chordify extracts chords, and not melody. Unfortunately you cannot play chords on a saxophone.
Your website is pure shit filled with ads. Can't see any actual content1 vote
Waiting for screenshot, might consider re-opening.
Some sort of score/rating system like other tab sites so you can see at a glance how good the tab is.
This would help you delete songs that don't transcribe well1 vote
Great idea, but it is a duplicate. Please vote for:
Its a no brainer, Elvis's Love me tender in incorrect, because you can see the video doesn't come close which is being seen, there are many incorrect being chordified1 vote
Automatic chord extraction/estimation is a hard task with plenty of active academic research (see, for example, the MIREX Audio Chord Estimation track). Chordify uses state-of-the-art music recognition software, but it often fails to find the correct chords or beat. We are continuously improving our service, and keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, to offer the best user experience possible.
All the best,
The Chordify team
When viewing a chordified song the whole area of the page outside of the chord display and player links to something else: Trying to switch back to the browser window from something over the top by clicking in the window causes a new browser tab/window to open. You wouldn't believe how annoying this is. Additionaly you can't actually see where the ad-link on the page is going to go, it'd be much better to have ad-boxes/banners so a user could see where the link goes and choose to click it or not for themselves rather than relying on accidental click thrus.

We’re sorry, but we use whole background advertising, and the backgrounds need to be links.
the words of the song would be useful.1 vote

Find more advertising to pay for your business instead of (trying) to charge customers. Because I won't be paying for it.

The automatic charting isn't working well for me. A lot of editiing is necessary. Is this being made more accurate?
Make the automatic charting more accurate. I'm finding a lot of misses...1 vote

Have a voice recognition search input so that the user has the ability to hum or sing the song rather than uploading the whole track1 vote
Thanks for your suggestion. We can’t recognise chords (harmony) from a solo voice (melody). There are other services offering query by humming, but we specialise in extracting chords. So I don’t think we will be adding support for this, sorry.
Declining this idea as it has already been suggested and you can vote for it here:
I searched for a music video where the actual song didn't start until 13 measures in. It would be nice to somehow cut out those measures.1 vote
Thanks for your idea! We agree – unfortunately, as the videos do not belong to Chordify, legally we can not cut or allow others to cut them.
However, one work around is to make a loop of the whole song starting from where the music actually starts. For instructions on how to do this, check out https://chordify.net/pages/how-to-use-chordify/ and scroll down to “Get your loops”.
por ej. con la tecla "delete" poder elinar algún acorde innecesario dentro de la plantilla.1 vote
Dear rafael, please write you suggestions in English. Thanks.
This site is awsome but there needs to be an App for WIndows computers1 vote
Hello Jenny, thanks for your feedback! Our website is currently ‘desktop’ app. We are not planning on releasing a specific stand-alone program for Windows (or OSX, or Linux for that matter); as it would behave very similarly to our website version.
To play a song on guitar only instrumental ( without strumming)
if you provide that option while uploading the file user can select that they pure chords or total song on instrumental..1 vote
I don’t understand what you try to suggest. Do you mean that you want to listen to the chords alone? This feature has been suggested before:

Hi, love the idea. However as with all chord learning programs, the chords need to be accurate otherwise there's no point. There's not much point cooking to a recipe if it's got the wrong ingredients. An example of that is David Bowie's Where are they now. The chords are a little tricky to work out but what you've got is totally wrong. For the record they are, verse - Fmaj7, G9, Dflat, Eflat, F, Dflat7flat9,C - chorus Fmaj7, Em, Dm7, C. I hope this is helpful. Good luck1 vote
Thanks for your suggestion. We are aware that there are some songs for which Chordify doesn’t work very well. Also, at the moment it does not display any chord variant other than major/minor. We’re continuously improving the chord recognition quality, however, this is not something we can assign a ticket to. Automatic chord transcription is a hard problem in general!
Hi and thank you for this wonderful program. I want to know if, once
> you ghave choridfied a song, you are able to erase the song.
> And then I noticed that sometimes in the diagram of the chords there
> is no correspondence with the beat of the song. I mean even the chord
> sometimes is incorrect (a minor for a major) . small details actually
> but still… is there a way we can solve this problem?1 vote
Dear Anonymouis, thank you for your suggestions, we greatly appreciate it. Could you please use one issue for one suggestions?
